A day at the Park.

Life has been so hectic lately. I feel like there is always something going on all around me. Life if just so busy while living with my parents. As I've stated before, I am very thankful for everything that they have done for us, but...it's so hard to be the family that we want to be while living under their roof.

But, yesterday was one of those rare days where everything felt perfect. Everyone was away, and it was just Ian and I for the day. We drove into town, mailed some packages from ebay, and then went for a walk, and ended up at the park.

Ian has been to this park before, but last time we went he was hardly crawling. This was the first time that he had ever really been able to enjoy the park. He loves the swing, and the slide, and running around in all of the open space. I can't believe how grown up my little boy is. He didn't seem like the same little baby that I first held in the hospital when he was running around the park. He was way too big to be mine.

The weather was perfect. Mid 70's. Warm, with a perfect cool breeze. It finally felt like fall, and the air smelled like the apples that had fallen off all of the trees around us. Ian was laughing, and giggling, and giving lots of kisses. It was just such a perfect day. I am so madly in love with my little man.

  1. So sweet. I love his outfit. I had one of those perfect days with my Ian this week as well. I took him out into breeze and we kicked up leaves that had fallen to the ground. He would run and yell "wow, wow" when they blew away. We did that for about 40 minutes it was so much fun.
