I'm not really sure to be honest. We hadn't chosen a name yet when we went to the big ultrasound. When we found out that he was a boy I said, how about Ian? And that was it. We spent 2 or 3 minutes dicussing whether his middle name should be Parker (just a name we liked) or Alan (Tobys middle name), but settled on Parker.
I had told my H at 6 weeks along it was a boy, I was right! We had discussed the name Ian and we both just loved it. I wanted something different, unique, old school. We called everyone and told them it was a boy and we had named him Ian Geoffrey. Geoffrey is my Dad's name. And then, a family member "hijacked" our name and named her son Ian. In our family it is not so unique anymore :) Im always referring to him as "the other Ian H."
Welcome to my life. It's kind of chaotic, and most certainly full of life. I am a young wife and mother, and I enjoy every beautiful moment of it. Feel free to enjoy it with me.
how did you choose the name Ian?
